2nd Szene Bunte Wähne young choreographers contest
After the big success of the young choreographers contest of the Szene Bunte Wähne dancefestival in 2006, the competition goes into round two. The best choreographic idea will be supported financially for the finalisation of a feature-length piece for children and youngsters. The finished production will be presented at the next dancefestival.
Closing date for application: December 15, 2006.
In 2006 the choreographer Jianan Qu from Shanghai won the 1st Szene Bunte Wähne young choreographers competition. "Once upon a time...", his lovingly structured piece for children of 3 and over, received its premiere in the frame of the ImPulsTanz Festival 2006.
The next Szene Bunte Wähne Festival will take place from February 15 to 25, 2007, at Dschungel Wien, WUK and dietheater.
